Lori Crowder, MHA, BSN, RN, CNOR, FACHE works as the Director for Perioperative Services at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC. She has 32 years of nursing experience and is a member of American College of Healthcare Executives and the Association of perioperative Registered Nurses. Lori’s career began on a med-surg unit prior to her entry into the perioperative area. Throughout her career she has served in a variety of leadership position, believing every position provides an opportunity to learn and shape you as a leader. Lori’s philosophy of servant leadership is a guiding principle in her desire to coach and mentor nurse leaders. In her spare time, Lori is an avid sports fan who enjoys reading and her spending time with her family and dogs.
